Been too long....

Pig tails!!

Potty time...

Haven't posted in a while! Been busy trying to get this winter over with. We've about had it! Finally got a minivan so that's been pretty exciting, I love the automatic doors and the room; the kids love the DVD player! It worked out so that was a nice surprise.

We celebrated Mia's 2nd birthday on the February 4th. She got lots of fun presents and we had a good time at Grammy and Grampy's with the family. Can't believe my baby is a little girl now. We're trying to work on potty training, she's kind of interested.
She has a BUNCH of personality which makes for exciting and feisty days. She's way too smart. Giving mommy a hard time and kissing up to daddy are her favorite things to do. And dancing- can't forget dance parties!

Vince has been having fun at school and really loves learning. He's been asking how to spell words and we're starting to learn how to read a little but for now he seems more interested in words and spelling. He's still obsessed with Monster trucks and regularly plays so hard/much with them he brakes them.

I'll try not to let it be sooo long next time! XOXO

Uncle Dan and Mia blew out the candles!

A nice party!

Ellie, the little girl we watch had a birthday in March and we celebrated with her.

Opening a present we got her, surprised the kids held off....

CrAZy group photo!

Funny things Mia says:
I ask her if she wants something- "Ummm... su'e" Sounds kind of like how sure should sound instead of the "shure" that it actually sounds like.

Ask her to do something- "Nope, sawwy!"

Funny things from Vince:
We were singing along in the van to a CD and Vince said "Dad- when I open my mouth, music notes come out!"

We were walking through Target the other day and he was singing loudly, "You Are My Sunshine".

It's Been a While!

Hope this finds everyone well! We'd like to welcome Chloe Ann Vincent to the world! She decided to be stubborn and finally come meet us after giving Kateri a hard time. But it was all worth it and she is quite a cutie! I know Vince and Mia are going to be jealous of Uncle Paul's attention being taken away! Congrats to my good friends Cheryl and Kevin on their new son James Patrick Green too! So many new babies- love it!
I finished up babysitting Jack a few weeks ago. We really miss him but are happy to be able to get out to do things in the morning, even though the flu hit the house! Luckily mommy did not get it and got to take care of the kids and daddy for Father's Day. Dad was sick but he got to stay in bed and sleep all day, only being interrupted to get a couple cards- so don't feel TOO sorry for him!
We are leaving tomorrow to meet cousin Chloe up north and in a couple weeks to the Outer Banks for a vacation! Yay!!! Can't wait to see the beach again and hope Grammy and Grampy don't regret agreeing to take us and stay together!!
Here are some pictures to remind you what we look like...
XOXO

Cute kids in this picture that Jack's mom took!

Mia's bathing suit bod and farmer's tan :)

Nice suit

The water park we love!

Jack and Mia

My bud Jack- won't smile when I'm not talking to him!

Vince LOVES Jack- the feeling is mutual!

Sharing cottage cheese- the way to the girl's heart!

Mia is getting so BIG! Think she looks so OLD here!

That boy can get excited over nothing

Funny things Vince has said:
Looking at Gabe's cross on his necklace he asked dad who it was. Gabe told him "Jesus" and Vince said "Wait a minute! We saw him at church!!"
Seriously, EVERY car or truck we see now he says he wants for his birthday, which he hopes is tomorrow! That one is actually more annoying! Ha
Mia Says:
"Melmo" for Elmo
She tries to sing along sometimes- I'll have to try to get a video, but it's kind of random.

Kids say the funniest things!

Vincent loves his sister!

Trying to get a good picture~ HA! (Vince tends to head-butt her!)

A little better....

Mia in her saucer, chewing...

Daddy's girl. She's looking at him...

I was trying to get a cute one of them together, not easy this time!

Vince coloring Grammy's birthday card
Vince has said and done some really funny things lately, so I thought I better write them down before I forget!
The other day I was laying on the couch trying to snooze before Mia got up again and Vince was watching TV. The cartoon was talking about eggs, so I didn't bother to look when he started yelling "Mommy! EGG!!!!! Mommy, Eeeggggggg!!!!" over and over again! I just said yep, Vince I hear it, thinking he was pointing to the TV or something. He kept yelling and I just wasn't looking. So about 15 minutes later Gabe came home for lunch and said as he walked through the living room he said "WHAT is that?! Is that POOP?!!!" I, of course, jumped up and said "WHAT?!" I looked down on the carpet to see a few turds laying on the ground and Vince again saying "EGGS daddy! Eggs, mommy!!" He had "laid" some eggs for us... Gross...
Yesterday we were in the car and I told him that I was stopping at McDonald's to get a drink because I was thirsty, but we weren't getting anything else. As soon as I drive up to the drive-thru though of course he starts yelling for "Fies! Fies pease!" I say again, "Vince, mommy is just getting a drink, I'm thirsty." He says ok, but 1 minute later, after ordering my drink and pulling up to the first window he says very sincerely and sweetly "I wuuuv fies mommy...." Well, how could I say no to that?! Push-over, I know...
The last thing I just remembered is kinda funny too. One day a few weeks ago Gabe and Vince were drawing. Vince said "Draw mommy, daddy!" So, Gabe started drawing and as he drew he said "Mommy's got crazy hair," and under his breath he said, "and big boobs." At which point Vince said laughing "And big boobs!" They both got a whack for that one. So, fast forward to earlier this week. Vince came up to me and said "Mommy- draw!" I said alright, what? He said mommy. So I draw my head, my "crazy hair" and start to draw my body at which point Vince says "Big boobs Mommy!" Ahhh.... thanks Gabe.

Mia is getting bigger and stronger! She now is rolling across the floor! It's really cute to see and I hope that means she'll be walking sooner then Vince did, my arms/back/legs need a break!
Some funny things she does is that she STARES at you when you're eating something, anything! Many times she tries to grab at it too! One day we were all eating pizza and she was staring at Gabe and he said "Sorry, honey! Not for another 6 months or so!" Right after he finished talking, like she understood EXACTLY what he said, she started crying! It was the cutest thing! And she was watching Gabe eat ice cream a week ago and we were watching and her bottom lip started quivering again! Needless to say, she had ice cream.....

Be back with Mia's 6 months pics soon! XOXO
