We have again made it to 11 months and keep wondering how we've made it this far and fast. I've started planning her birthday party which is fun and exciting. I just can't believe it's almost been a year. So much has changed. We're getting a cousin to join us from Paul and Kateri. Uncle Dan is leaving us for Libya to find a new adventure. Adam and Cara will be in Cali for another few months so it'll be a small birthday party! We'll miss you guys :(

Mia will be walking any day, she is taking steps and stands up from the middle of the floor. She says "Dada, Moma", and probably other things that I just haven't caught yet. Tonight was the first night she finally fell asleep by herself after minimal crying so that was a breakthrough for me! Now if we could just get her to quit waking up during the night mommy would be a happy, well-rested woman!

Vince is big, talking a ton, and loves all the snow. We put a bird feeder in our tree in the back- hence the pics of the kids looking at the birdies! He loves playing with our neighbors who are turning into good friends which is nice for all of us. He likes to help US remember out manners and reminds me to cover my mouth when I cough by say "Cover Mommy! COVER!!" Which of course is exactly what I say to him...

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and continue to count our blessings. We hope and pray that all is well with you all!

10 months and counting!

We are to ten months already- WHERE DID THE TIME GO?! We can't believe that Mia is almost a year old, what happened? I remember thinking with Vince that the first year seemed so looong and this year with Mia has flown by. I'm really glad I started this blog so I can look back and see what the heck happened! I have about 12 pictures of the next one and she has so much in her hands because I couldn't get her to sit there long enough to get a picture. She's a busy little girl. Her favorite things are swatting people in the face, saying "dad" and laughing at her brother. She really enjoys peak-a-boo as you can see in the last video.

I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Year! This will probably be our last pictures of the year.

Mia is 9 months!!

We've made it to 9 months! Yay!!! We're pretty excited around here, she is obviously! Going to her check-up on Tuesday so we'll see her new stats then. I know she's over 26 lbs. since she got checked last week because she was sick. We're working on our way to 1 already, I can't believe it. She now claps and crawls and sometimes says mama and dada, although I'm not positive she knows she's saying it.

Martineau Family Halloween!

We're ready for Trick-or-treat here at the Martineau's! Our birthdays are all over for now and we have a ladybug and fireman ready to go spook up some candy! I made Mia some bug antennas and we found costumes for them both. Vince wasn't going to wear a costume till he realized that NO COSTUME- NO CANDY. Of course he's been sick the last few days so mom and dad have been eating it. Mia is getting more teeth and that always makes her a joy to be around, NOT.

Gabe turned 33 today- HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! We love you.
